Our projects are concept driven. We believe that through ideas based installations we can tell engaging stories.
The design solution should be an inventive and creative response to the brief without loosing sight of the communication goals.
We develop an in-depth understanding of the subject, collections, environment, audience, stakeholders and client brief.
The design process is very much a team effort. We form close working relationships with our clients and key stakeholders in order to build a project team to deliver the best possible outcome.
Solutions must adhere to DDA and RNIB guidelines for physical and intellectual access.
Target audiences and educational requirements must be considered. A multisensory approach delivers dynamic environments and enables us to address a variety of learning styles.
The design solution should take into account environmental considerations utilising sustainable materials and environmentally friendly production processes.
We avoid pastiche. A clear distinction should be made between new interventions and any period features. Schemes however, should be appropriate and sensitive in both design and execution and may be informed by the architectural environment.
Tendered proposals are seen as a starting point for discussion. We are happy for our ideas to evolve though discussion with the wider project team.
Director and associate level involvement throughout projects.
For each project we assign a dedicated team, led by the creative director. Other members of the team may include: content developers, 3D designers, graphic designers, interactive designers, computer programmers, artworkers and visualisers. It is this range of in-house skills that enables us to deliver complex, integrated, multi-disciplinary projects.
From an established network of freelancers and subcontractors we can also supply: script writers, researchers, film and video production, audio editing, music creation, digital media production, print, exhibition fit-out, model and prop making, illustration, photography and graphics production.
