This touring exhibition for the V&A Museum of Childhood launched in November 2007 will visit 9 venues around the UK over the next three years.
The exhibition examines the impact space exploration has had on everyday life, especially futuristic design and the fantasy worlds created for children and adults alike.
Visitors of all ages particularly enjoyed the ‘Design your own Space Age bedroom’ interactive. The touch screen interactive enables users to create a room layout based on objects on display in the exhibition. The game was also made available on the V&A website. All exhibition design, graphics and digital interactives were handled in-house by Designmap.
