The exhibition occupies the ground floor of the castle. The lack of original artefacts inspired the use of graphics and digital interactives, including a database driven family tree where visitors can add their details and see a world map of the Maguires develop. Interactives were multi-lingual (Gaelic and English).
The graphic design utilised silhouettes to provide a narrative, illustrating the landscape and historic events such as the castle siege in the 16th Century.
